The ports along the coast road south east

A nice way to travel along the coastal road is by boat. We have thousands of boaters each year traveling with only the wind as the driving force, but there are also more engine-borne boaters. We have several popular guest harbors, from Kristianopel in the north and out to Stone Harbor in the south.

Kristianopel

Kristianopel is a coastal village dating from the 1600s. The community is located within the ancient city walls, in the same place now as then, and offers in addition to the harbor also a range of activities with shops and cafes. Kristianopel touted as the distance from the “highways, burger and artificial water country ‘.
The port is used exclusively for the guest harbor activities. There is space for 50 boats angjorda with buoy. Directly adjacent to the port, there is also a café, a port tavern and several fishing huts used for smaller operations. Kristianopel is the second port of Blekinge Karlskrona City Marina which has qualified for the Blue Flag

Sandhamn

DSC5344Sandhamn harbor is sheltered in Sandhamn bay furthest out on Sweden’s south-eastern cape, in Karlskrona municipality. The port was built in 1950 and consists of three piers and has previously been exclusively an industrial harbor.
The port is used by fishermen and marina activities. The innermost pier used marina activity and the outer two are for the fishing industry. Directly adjacent to the harbor there are small cafe / restaurant, guest cabins for rent and a restaurant.

Torhamn

Torhamns marina located on the Swedish mainland south-eastern tip of the extension to the village Torhamn, Karlskrona municipality. The port is also near Torhamn nature reserve which lies further out on the Cape. A Båtsällskap conducts the operation of the port and implements including training for its members.
Torhamns port is used as a marina for the most part. The marina has a summer café and a total of approximately 140 berths, of which båtsällskapet recently invested in 40 places. The harbor has about 20 moorings.

Stenshamn

DSC5344Stone Harbor is located in the outermost part of Karlskrona’s eastern archipelago, is one of the major ports in this part of the archipelago. The port has a few fixed berths and seats about 30 to 40 visiting boats and cafe / kiosk. Stenshamn joined by island Utlangan by a narrow bridge whose path leads through the village with its Bullerby like feel. On the islands are also an association regularly organizes harbor festivals, valborgsmässofirande and a very popular annual opera performance.
As there are many permanent residents of Stone Harbor and Utlangan used the port largely as marina and mooring spot for the archipelago traffic. Ungskär
